Chelsea target Argentine’s defender

Chelsea have reportedly put Argentina’s right-back Nahuel Molina, who is currently signed with Atletico Madrid, on their radar.

Molina, who the Spanish club signed from Udinese back in July for about €10-20m popped up on the transfer radar after his excellent form at the World Cup with Argentina.

According to Marca, it claimed that Chelsea were linked with moves for Molina in the summer when he chose Atlético owing to the recommendation of his national team manager.

Upon not being able to sign him, Chelsea had to renew César Azpilicueta’s contract.

It is believed that Chelsea are back in the race to sign Molina especially if their supposed intention to sign Denzel Dumfries doesn’t work out.

While Molina, 24, contract with Atléti doesn’t end until 2027, anything could happen if Chelsea are willing to make the right offer to the Spanish club.
