Chelsea submit improved offer for Inter Milan defender
Chelsea have supposedly submitted improved offer for Inter Milan’s Achraf Hakimi, as the Blues endeavor to sign the Moroccan during this current summer’s transfer window.
The Morocco international scored seven goals and registered 11 assists in 45 appearances for his Italian club during the 2020-21 season but could be sold in the current market because of his side’s financial issues.
Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be at the top of the line for the 22-year-old, who actually has four years left to run on his present deal at San Siro.
Chelsea are accepted to have effectively failed with an offer for Achraf Hakimi, but as indicated by Corriere dello Sport, an improved offer has now been submitted.
The report guarantees that Chelsea have offered Inter Milan £43m plus Emerson Palmieri, while the London club are also set to add Davide Zappacosta, Mateo Kovacic or Tammy Abraham into the deal.
Achraf Hakimi, who started his career at Real Madrid, to a great extent worked as a right-sided midfielder for Inter Milan during the 2020-21 season but also featured as a right-back.
