Chelsea striker shares why Silva will end up as a coach

Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has reacted to Thiago Silva’s exit from Stamford Bridge.

For weeks, there had been speculations on Silva’s future on whether he would exit Stamford Bridge or extend his contract at the end of the season.

However, on Tuesday, Silva in a heartfelt message confirmed he would be leave Stamford Bridge after four years.

Silva who joined the Blues on free transfer in 2020 had originally penned a one year deal.

However, his impressive form for the Blues saw them extend his deal to keep him at Stamford Bridge for four years.

In his farewell to Chelsea, Silva had hinted at returning to Stamford Bridge in another role.

Reacting, Chelsea striker Jackson in a statement via Sky Sports tipped Silva to go into football management.

Jackson also shared how he watched Silva play since he was young as he described the Brazilian as one of the most inspirational defenders in the world.

The striker also shared how Silva impacted the dressing room.

Sending wishes to the defender and his family, Jackson said the Blues players  wish they could be with him for more years and hopefully have won something but it was not possible.

“He’ll be a coach for sure. He’s an inspiration to young people, Jackson said.
