Chelsea star midfielder reportedly makes final decision on his future with the Blues

Premier League side Chelsea will be having their star midfielder Jorginho with them next season as the Italian plan to stay with the blues, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Jorginho continued his good with Chelsea at the European Championship, ensuring that Italy comes out victorious despite the threat possessed by England.

The former Napoli midfielder controlled things in the midfield as he has now won the UEFA Champions League and the European Championship.

However, with Jorginho’s contract at Chelsea FC set to expire in the summer of 2023, there has been some speculation about his future in recent days.

Some reports have claimed he could be heading back to Italy. Still, Italian journalist Romano has revealed that the player’s agent has confirmed that the midfielder will be staying at Chelsea FC beyond the summer transfer window.

Romano, via a post on Twitter, stated that Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos confirmed that he’s staying at Chelsea after the Euros.

The Italian journalist noted that Tuchel trusts Jorginho, and he’ll be part of the Chelsea team next season.

Jorginho, who is now 29-year-old scored seven goals and made one assist in 28 Premier League games for Chelsea last season.
