Chelsea star issues stern warning to teammates ahead of clash against Liverpool

Chelsea wing-back Recce James has issued a stern warning to his teammates ahead of the clash against Liverpool at Anfield.

The blues are set to face an uphill task when travel to Liverpool’s stadium for their third match of the campaign.

Chelsea and Liverpool are heading into the game full of confidence as they both won their first two games convincingly.

Chelsea secured an impressive and dominant 2-0 win over Arsenal at The Emirates on Sunday to follow up their 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace on the opening weekend.

Liverpool on the other hand defeated Burnley 2-0 after their first win over Premier League newcomers, Norwich City.

Speaking ahead of the game, James stated that Liverpool have been up there at the top of the Premier League for the last few seasons so it’s going there will be a very tough game.

The England international noted that Chelsea need to prepare right and bring the same intensity as against Arsenal into that game but the team is very strong.

James insisted that Chelsea have a number of top players in each position so when one top player comes off, there’s another one replacing them, which keeps the competition really high.

He added that there’s no pressure on the team right now and they have to take it game by game but obviously the aim is to win every week.
