Chelsea sign new goalkeeper for Maresca

Chelsea have sealed a move for a new goalkeeper as they continue to bolster their squad under their new manager Enzo Maresca.

The recent report revealed the Blues have completed a deal for goalkeeper Filip Jørgensen from Villarreal.

This recent transfer was made public by popular football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a tweet via his X account.

Romano revealed the west London will pay €24.5m fee to Villarreal for the Danish goalie.

The contract has been tipped to be a long term deal by Goal Management and Epic Sports agencies.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have continue with their tour of the US for their pre-season game.

The Blues who were recently held to a draw against Wrexham in their first game under Maresca will face Celtic on Saturday night.

Chelsea will hope to record their first pre-season win with Maresca with some of their key players making another appearances tonight.

Recall that the Blues boss had granted players 45 minutes game time in their first match while stating that he was yet to decide on his first squad.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are likely to make new additions before the summer transfer window closes especially in their attack as they are in need of a striker that can score goals.
