Chelsea reportedly has edge over rival in the pursuit of star forward
Current Champions League holder Chelsea are reportedly one step ahead of Manchester City in the pursuit of Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.
Chelsea are currently in need of a forward after Giroud completed his move to AC Milan and Tammy Abraham linked with a move out of the club.
The blues are reportedly eyeing Harry Kane, who wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur but are facing competition from Manchester City.
Manchester City are also desperate to add a striker to their team after Sergio Aguero left the club this summer to Barcelona on a free transfer.
The citizens have been identified Harry Kane as his replacement, but Chelsea are reportedly willing to use a vast strategy in ensuring they win the race.
According to The Athletic, Tammy Abraham could be included in a deal that will bring Kane to Stamford Bridge.
Tottenham Hotspur is an attractive option for Tammy Abraham in terms of his profile and potential, and both parties might be willing to work together.
Abraham fell out of favour with Thomas Tuchel last season and is also expected to move this summer.
Chelsea are expected to offer Abraham to Spurs, along with a large chunk of cash; of course, they could well move ahead of City in the race.
