Chelsea reconsidering signing former striker
Chelsea have been once again linked with moves for their former striker Tammy Abraham, who they could sign from Italian side As Roma in January.
According to Calcio Mercato, the Blues are considering re-signing Abraham 18 months after letting the striker leave.
While Chelsea have a buy-back clause inserted in the contract with the Serie A club, they do not wish to pay the whole amount as there are claims they could renegotiate.
Abraham, who had struggled at Chelsea has flourished in Italy under former Blues manager Jose Mourinho but he is open to a return to the EPL.
The Blues are keen on signing a new striker in January after their youngster Armando Broja suffered an ACL injury, which could keep him on the sideline for the rest of the season.
While Broja wasn’t a regular under Graham Potter, he was steadily integrated.
Aside from Abraham, Chelsea have been linked with moves for David Datro Fofana from Molde who is also a profiling goalscorer but has no experience of the EPL.
