Chelsea ready to offload these three players
The recent report has revealed that EPL side Chelsea are ready to offload Kepa Arrizabalaga, Ross Barkley and Timo Werner in the summer transfer window.
Chelsea are planning for the upcoming summer transfer market despite the current uncertainty surrounding the club’s ownership.
According to The Telegraph, the Blues will be looking to generate funds by selling unwanted squad players this summer, and Werner, Kepa and Barkley are all likely to be available for purchase.
Werner has struggled to make his mark for Thomas Tuchel’s side during the 2021-22 campaign, managing just three goals and one assist in 16 Premier League appearances.
Also, Kepa remains number two to Edouard Mendy at Stamford Bridge, and the goalkeeper is heavily paid for just sitting on the bench.
Barkley has struggled to break into the midfield under Tuchel as he has made just 12 appearances in all competitions, including only five outings in the English Premier League.
Chelsea will have to welcome new owners before the start of the summer window to be able to complete these transfers.
