The latest report claim Chelsea are now open to an offer for their Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer.

Kepa who lost his regular game time at Chelsea after Edouard Mendy arrived at the club in 2020 wants to leave Stamford Bridge for a new club where he is assured of regular game time.

According to the Daily Mirror, the 27-year-old wants regular first-team football and as that is not guaranteed at Chelsea, the Blues are willing to listen to offers for the Spaniard this summer.

The report added any club that want to sign Kepa on loan must be willing to pay the majority of his wages, which is currently around £150,000 per week.

Kepa is hoping to get a spot in Luis Enrique’s Spain squad for the 2022 World Cup, having not played for the national team since July 2020, the goalkeeper may struggle to break into the 26-man squad if he spends more time on the substitute’ bench.

The former Athletic Bilbao goalie has been linked with moves to Ligue 1 outfit Nice, and former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio.

Recall that Sarri was the one who signed Kepa in 2018 for a world-record fee of £72m.
