Chelsea monitoring Lille striker

Barely a few days to the end of the end of the January transfer window, the reports have revealed Chelsea have their eyes on Lille striker Jonathan David.

A report via Téléfoot disclosed that Chelsea are planning to sign a top striker in the near future to give their team the much-needed boost at the front.

While their main target is Napoli star Victor Osimhen, the West London club also have their eyes on Jonathan Da

The 24-year-old has been impressive in the French Ligue 1 and the Blues are interested in having him in their ranks.

David made it to the spotlight at KAA Gent where he became a part of their first team in the summer of 2018.

After two successful years with their senior team, he moved to France to join LOSC Lille.

The Canadian international has since been impressive featuring in a total of 162 matches for the French club and has scored 84 goals.

Last season, he scored 26 goals and he has maintained this same pattern this season, scoring 11 goals so far.
