Chelsea midfielder warned against joining Man City

Former Chelsea star, Frank Leboeuf, has advised the club midfielder and Croatia international Mateo Kovacic against moves to Man City.
According to Leboeuf, Kovacic is unlikely to be a regular starter at Manchester City if he joins the Premier League champions this summer.
Kovacic has been linked with moves away from Chelsea like a number of his colleagues as the Blues plan to cut down their squad.
While the Croatian has a year left on his contract, he could be one of many of Chelsea’s first-team members that will leave Stamford Bridge.
“If he goes to City, where is he going to play? Is he going to start over Rodri for example? No, I don’t think so,” Leboeuf told Si & Dan Talk Chelsea.
“Do you want to play 20 games a season at City or go to another team playing 50 games a season?”
He added, “I will be sad to see him leave. When he came from Real Madrid, he was not the player that he developed into at Chelsea a few years after. I have enjoyed seeing him play for Chelsea though. I think he fought for the club.”
