Chelsea manager refuses to rule out signing Kane
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has refused to rule out signing Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.
With Kane having a year left on his current contract with the Hotspurs, there have been reports linking him with moves to Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
However, Tottenham have insisted that Kane is not up for sale this summer, with the club’s chairman Daniel Levy also reluctant to allow him to join one of their Premier League rivals.
There are speculations that Pochettino, who had a good relationship with the England striker from their time together in North London could help lure him to Chelsea.
“I don’t like to talk about players in another club, but you are talking about one of the greatest, one of the best strikers in the world.
“At the moment we are thinking in different ways. We are not thinking about that. Of course, working hard to try to provide the squad with good qualities.
“I don’t like to talk about players and, more than that, players who were close to me,” Pochettino told a press conference on Friday.
