Chelsea linked with moves for Atletico Madrid winger

Chelsea continues to be linked with multiple players this summer as they hope to bolster their team ahead of next season.

The Blues are have been linked with moves for Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Carrasco.

According to Spanish outlet AS via Sport Witness (h/t football.london), Chelsea have shown their interest to Atletico Madrid as they hope to explore the possibility of a move for Carrasco this summer.

The Blues will, however, face stiff competition for the 28-year-old, with Manchester United also interested in the winger.

However, Atletico manager Diego Simeone has advised the club’s hierarchy not to accept any offers for Carrasco, regardless of his list of suitors.

Also, Carrasco does not need to leave Atletico, where he is one of their key players to a new league.

He would also want to pick some lessons from Saul Niguez, who was at Chelsea on loan but fail to impress in the EPL and has returned to Atletico.

Chelsea may have to rule out any move for Carrasco at least for this summer window and focus elsewhere.
