Chelsea linked with move for new Brighton manager as Potter’s replacement
According to the reports, Chelsea have identified another possible replacement for Graham Potter who has come under intense pressure to keep his job following the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
While Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly remains behind Potter, it is short-lived as the out come of the Blues’ next few games will be crucial as they would determine Potter’s future at the club.
While past managers at Stamford Bridge have been linked with a return to Chelsea, a new possible manager has been discovered in what could be considered quite a shocking move.
According to Football Insider, Chelsea have taken interest in Brighton’s new manager Roberto De Zerbi, who replaced Potter on the south coast when he joined Chelsea.
The report further claimed that the 43-year-old is also interested in the job.
It is unlikely that Chelsea would want to make move for another Brighton manager with Potter’s poor performance.
