Chelsea January signing insists he is happy at the club
Chelsea winger and Ukraine international Mykhailo Mudryk has broken silence over claims that he is unhappy at Stamford Bridge since making the January transfer switch.
Recall that the Ukrainian international moved to Chelsea for a fee worth up to £88.5million as he turned down Arsenal after extensive links with a move to north London.
Mudryk who the Blues hijacked from Arsenal has so far not quite hit the heights since joining.
While things could have been different for Mudryk if he had joined Arsenal, Shakhtar chief Darijo Srna hinted that he could be unhappy.
Srna told Football Ramble Podcast: “Unfortunately, at Chelsea now he’s not in a good mood, Mykhailo as well, but he has all the qualities to be one of the best players in the Premier League in the next couple of years.”
Mudryk in a recent statement has, however, broken his silence over the claim as he said he is unhappy with a simple message on social media.
Under a post from Chelsea after the defeat to Tottenham, Instagram user @yugiizman commented: “Hello @mmudryk10 are you happy with Chelsea now?”
The winger replied with a short response: “Yes.”
