Chelsea hold talks to sign Osimhen

Premier League side Chelsea are said to be willing to go all out to sign Napoli star Victor Osimhen.

The Blues reportedly held talks to sign the 25-year-old who is one of the winning strikers in the Serie A.

According to a report by Graeme Bailey on HITC, Osimhen is the subject of interest from the Blues.

It is no longer news that Chelsea need a prolific striker and could make a move for one in the summer transfer window.

Ahead of the next window, the Blues have already held talks to sign the 25-year-old Serie A-winning forward.

The need for a new striker arose after Nicolas Jackson failed to make an impact since arriving from Villarreal.

Osimhen has emerged as a viable target for Chelsea, who will look to beat heavy competition for his signature.

The Blues also need to break the bank to pay his release clause this summer.

Aside from Chelsea, French side Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in Osimhen, who they see as a worthy replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who could leave at the end of the season.
