Chelsea hero says he is sure Chelsea will return to the top four
Chelsea dropped out in the top four this season during the era of their former coach, Frank Lampard.
The Blues dropped to the 9th spot on the league table leaving the Blues board with no option than to sack the former England international as their coach.
They went on to sign former PSG coach, Thomas Tuchel as the new manager and so far he has been able to turn things around at Stamford Bridge.
Presently, the Blues are seated at the 5th spoof in the EPL after they were held to a draw last weekend by Man Utd.
However, Chelsea hero, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, has expressed optimism that the club would secure a top-four finish under thei Tuchel this season.
When asked if he thinks Chelsea will finish top-four, Hasselbaink told Sky Sports: “I’m more convinced that Chelsea will make it because at the moment, they don’t get any goals against and that is a big thing.
He added that the Blues only need to score one goal to win matches and they are not getting counter-attacked that much.
“Also, they are not getting goals against set-pieces, so in that aspect, it’s good,” he added.
Chelsea will play against a struggling Liverpool side on Thursday at Anfield.
