Besides targeting promising Brazilian teenagers, they’ve often brought in talent and staff linked to Brighton and other specific clubs. This includes key figures like Paul Winstanley, and Graham Potter, and players like Robert Sanchez, Marc Cucurella, and Moises Caicedo from Brighton.

Laurence Stewart, Chelsea’s co-sporting director, also has strong connections from his previous roles, including his time at Monaco, which influenced the acquisitions of Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile.
