Chelsea confident of signing most sought after young forward in the summer

Confident Premier League side Chelsea are growing more confident that a deal to bring Erling Haaland to Stamford Bridge will be sorted out despite the growing interest in the Borussia Dortmund striker.

Erling Haaland has become one of the most sorts after young talent in Europe as he has been able to prove himself as a unique goalscorer.

The 20-year-old has scored an impressive 43 goals in 45 appearances for BVB in all competitions and this has included an amazing 27 goals in 27 appearances during the 2020-21 campaign.

This has prompt top European teams monitoring his situation at Borussia Dortmund as they are willing to pounce on any available deal.

The likes of  Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City, have been linked with the Norway international and Chelsea have also not hide their intentions.

With a £65m release clause in Haaland’s contract set to come into play next year, a new report has insisted that Dortmund might be ready to let him go due to their financial problems.

According to ESPN, Chelsea’s top hierarchy believes they can entice the youngster to join the club ahead of Real Madrid and Man City who are currently eyeing the young talent.

Chelsea are reportedly willing to satisfy Haaland with their deal as they are willing to begin a new era with the Norwegian and Thomas Tuchel who has been impressive ever since he joined as manager.
