This weekend Chelsea football club announced a new three-year deal for their forward Frankie Runham.

The Blues in a statement released via their official website congratulated the 18-year-old for the new contract.

“Frankie Runham has signed a new three-year contract with Chelsea. Congratulations, Frankie,” Chelsea’s statement read.

Recall that Runham arrived at the West London club at eight years old and has moved through the youth ranks over the years.

The forward made his under-18 debut during the 2022–23 season.

He was a regular for Chelsea’s Under-18s last season and played important roles in their Premier League South title win and Under-17 Premier League Cup triumph.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are still the race for new signings this summer transfer window.

While the Blues have already signed  five players so far this summer with Marc Guiu, Tosin Adarabioyo, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Estevao Willian and Omari Kellyman, they are still keen on making some additions before the transfer window closes.

One of area the Blues are willing to improved this summer is their attack line and they are in need of a striker that can score goals to create competition for Nicolas Jackson, who has struggled to impress at Stamford Bridge.
