Chelsea and other top 5 spenders this summer
Chelsea made it to the list of the top six spenders in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The Blues have signed two key players in the persons of Raheem Sterling from Man City and Kalidou Koubauli from the Italian side Napoli.
Arsenal also made the list of the top six spends as they completed the signing of a new player on Friday.
This comes as the Gunners paid £32 million for the signing of Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City.
So far this summer, the North London side have now spent £121.5 million on new players ahead of the new season, according to Sky Sport.
Others on the list of the top spenders are Tottenham Hotspur (£115 million), Manchester City (£101.1 million), Leeds United (£95.4 million), Liverpool (£91.5 million) and Chelsea (£81.5 million).
There are chances Chelsea could take over the top spot of the highest spenders this summer if they are able to seal a deal for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
Chelsea are close to signing Kounde as they have reportedly struck a £55 million fee for the defender.
