Carabao League: Liverpool vs Chelsea – Possible prediction

Chelsea will return to action in the Carabao League final this weekend when they face Liverpool at Wembley Stadium.

The Blues would hope to win their second trophy this weekend after they had won the FIFA club world cup a few days ago in Abu Dhabi.

While Chelsea are out of the race to win the EPL title this season, Liverpool, on the other hand, have closed in on league leaders Man City with three points away.

The Reds stand a chance of winning the EPL and also the UCL.

Ahead of the Carabao League final, former football star, Joe Cole has dropped his predictions.

Liverpool, on the other hand, are still challenging for this season’s Premier League title, while they are expected to enjoy another productive run in the Champions League, which they won under Jurgen Klopp in 2019.

When asked for his Carabao Cup final prediction, Cole told BT Sport: “Thomas Tuchel will certainly have a plan.

“It’s probably the reason we didn’t see Jorginho [against Lille].

“I’m going to throw it out there, Chelsea win it. I think they will lift the trophy.

“We are all obviously really looking forward to it.”
