Carabao League final: Chelsea vs Liverpool – Possible prediction

Chelsea will return to action on Sunday at Wembley stadium in the Carabao League final against Liverpool.

Ahead of the match, former football star, Dimitar Berbatov has tipped the Blues to emerge winners of the carabao league trophy.

And Berbatov believes the winning goal for the Blues would come in the extra time.

He told BetFair: “This should be a League Cup final to savour, with the European champions taking on the Premier League title contenders and two of the best managers in the world, who know each other well, going up against each other.

“Liverpool are in stunning form but, while Chelsea have struggled recently, I fancy the Blues to raise their game for this final.

“I don’t think it will be settled in 90 minutes and think the Blues could nick it in eextra time

“Chelsea 2-1 Liverpool.”

The Carabao League final would be the first domestic league final for this season and the Blues would hope to make it their second trophy, having won the FIFA club world cup last earlier this month.
