Broja tipped to be top player at Chelsea
Former Chelsea defender, Glen Johnson has tipped the club’s forward, Armando Broja to become a top player at Stamford Bridge.
Johnson also urged Chelsea to keep Broja amid rumours linking him to Serie A side Inter Milan in January.
Broja, who came through the Blues’ academy, recently took Nicolas Jackson’s spot in manager Mauricio Pochettino’s starting squad after the Senegal star’s suspension.
The Albania star who rcenetly returned from a long injury was handed a start against Fulham as he scored a goal in a 2-0 victory.
“I think he could potentially become a top player for Chelsea,” Johnson told Betfred.
“He’s got age on his side, he’s a very good technical player and he’s calm and composed in front of goal, which is something you need if you are going to be a striker for a top team.
“He’s yet to hit the heights, but he’s young and definitely worth having as an option for Chelsea and it’s better than them spending an awful lot of money on somebody else.”
