Chelsea
Brazilian side close to agreeing loan deal for Chelsea forward
With Chelsea set to face Crystal Palace in their first Premier League match of the season, some players are still going to leave the club in search of playing time.
One of the players that has been out of favour at Chelsea is Kennedy who is now on the verge of completing a loan move to Brazilian side Flamengo.
Kennedy joined Chelsea in 2016 for $10-million but has failed to establish himself as a first team player at the club.
The Brazilian has been forced to go out on loan on numerous occasions with his past loan spell being at Granada in the Spanish La Liga.
His loan spell at Granada was fruitful as he made 44 appearances, scoring eight goals and registering six assists.
However, this has not gotten him a place in Thomas Tuchel’s plan for this season.
According to the Brazilian newspaper O Dia (via UOL Esporte), Chelsea have now agreed to laon the midfielder to Flamengo.
The report claimed Chelsea will allow the 25-year-old to go on a 12-month loan with a €10-million option to buy clause attached.
