Boost for Pochettino: Boehly speaks on Chelsea’s form

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has given impressive comment about the club’s recent form in the Premier League.

Boehly opined that Chelsea recent form is proof the club’s plan is “coming together” under manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The Blues have remain consistent in their last three matches as they held an unbeaten run against West Ham and Tottenham after a draw at Aston Villa.

Results from their last three matches have seen the Blues move to the seventh in the Premier League, which means they stand a good chance of securing European football next season.

As of now they are just two points behind sixth-placed Newcastle.

Recall that amid Chelsea’s woes earlier in the season, supporters accused Boehly making the club a “laughing stock.”

However, the American billionaire has now said the board’s plans are starting to take form.

While this could be a boost for Pochettino, his future at Chelsea remains in doubt.

Recall that the Argentine penned a two year deal with the Blues last summer window but so far there are no talks on whether they would extend his contract or not.

Pochettino’s future at Chelsea may depend on if the Blues can get a spot in European tournaments next season.
