Bayern to make £70 million bid for Chelsea’s target from Tottenham
Bayern Munich, who have been named among the top clubs interested in signing Harry Kane, have up their game as a report claimed they are set to make an improved £70 million offer to Tottenham Hotspur.
The report revealed the German side are trying to get the deal for Kane quickly done this summer.
However, there are reports that Bayern’s bid doesn’t match the Spurs’ demands to let the England striker leave.
Meanwhile, Kane is scheduled to return to training before Tottenham fly out for their pre-season tour to Australia, Thailand and Singapore on Friday.
Bayern would have to go beyond their new bid to convince Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy to sell, even though Kane has just one year left on his contract.
However, it is unlikely that Bayern Munich would further up their bid, especially for a player, who will be free next summer, though they would face a much more competitive challenge to sign him then.
