Bayern reportedly set to sign this Chelsea star for Tuchel

German club Bayern Munich are reportedly set to sign Chelsea’s Mason Mount for their new manager Thomas Tuchel.

Recall Tuchel coached Mount during his time at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea’s head coach before he was sacked last September.

The former Blues manager who recently returned to coaching duties now wants to raid his former club to bring Mount to Germany in the summer.

Mount has been tipped to leave Stamford Bridge this summer especially as the talks between his representatives and the Blues over a contract extension fell through.

The Blues may be forced into selling the England star this summer transfer window in a bid not to break Financial Fair Play rules.

Mount’s current contract with Chelsea will expire in the summer of 2024 and he has also been linked with moves to Liverpool.

A report via The Times revealed Tuchel, who had a strong relationship with Mount during his time at the Premier League club, wants to bring the player to the Bundesliga.

Chelsea would be willing to sell Mount for at least £50 million to interested clubs and would prefer to sell him to Bayern that a close rival like Liverpool.
