Ahead of the summer transfer window, German club Bayer Leverkusen have revealed they are ready to part ways with their striker Christian Kofane, who has been linked to Arsenal and Real Madrid.

Leverkusen are, however, said to be holding out for an eight-figure sum to accept offers for Kofane.

A report via Florian Plettenberg, Arsenal and Real Madrid will have to pay the sum of €60–70 million to Bayer Leverkusen to sign the 19-year-old Bundesliga striker.

Kofane’s impressive form for the team this campaign since arriving at Leverkusen last summer, has caught attention of top clubs ahead of the summer window.

The 19-year-old star has had a good enough first season with Bayer Leverkusen, as they acquired the striker as part of a major overhaul.

This comes as most of their key first-team stars left in the summer, which prompted the club to sign several players, including the 19-year-old striker.

He has scored seven goals and eight assists across all competitions, and has recently been preferred to start at the front.
