Bayer Leverkusen star linked to Arsenal

Bayer Leverkusen star and Nigerian international Victor Boniface has been linked with moves to Arsenal in the ongoing January transfer window.

Boniface, who is expected to join up with his Nigerian teammates for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, is among the list of potential forward additions Arsenal could sign this winter.

The Football London also reported that Boniface is one of the names under consideration.

The 23-year-old is said to be an Arsenal fan which could give the Premier League club an advantage when it comes to a potential transfer deal.

It may be a transfer that has to wait until the summer if it goes ahead, though.

Leverkusen are at the top of the Bundesliga league table and will not want to let their best striker leave just yet.

Although there is no sell-on fee that the German club have to adhere to, they would likely also want a significant fee.
