Ballon d’Or: Mount reveals who deserves to win it

Chelsea player Mason Mount in a recent statement, has revealed the player that deserves to win the prestigious Ballon d’Or award.

Mount, who was also nominated on the 30-man list, is, however, rooting for these Chelsea players N’Golo Kante and Jorginho.

According to Mount, Kante and Jorginho were impressive both at the club and international level.

Aside from Mount, Kante and Jorginho, who made the list, others are PSG’s Lionel Messi, Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski, Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

Speaking to L’Equipe, as quoted by Transfer Market Web, Mount said, “It’s a difficult question; I’m happy that I don’t have the responsibility to decide on these kinds of things. There are a lot of players who can claim it. Like [Robert] Lewandowski, given the number of goals he has scored and the way he weighs in matches. Recently, Mohamed Salah has also been unplayable.”

“And obviously, as a Chelsea player, I’m going to name my club teammates like Jorginho, who won the Euro and the Champions League, as well as NG [N’Golo Kanté], who is quite simply one of the best players in the world.”
