Aston Villa vs Chelsea: Owen drops prediction
Chelsea will on Sunday make a short trip to Aston Villa for their last Premier League match of the season.
The Blues who are seated in the third spot on the Premier League table will hope to win the match and seal their spot on the table.
The match is expected to be an interesting one as Aston Villa will be the side playing at home which means they have a higher advantage of defeating the Blues.
However, ahead of the match, former England international, Michael Owen has dropped his prediction for the match.
Speaking on the Aston Villa vs Chelsea fixture, Owen told BetVictor, “Despite having a couple of poor results in recent weeks, Chelsea must be happy with their campaign overall, especially the second half.
“Blues’ fans have a UEFA Champions League final to look forward to next week, however, before then they must win here to be certain of their position in the Champions League.
“As I said, their form of late has slipped slightly, however, if they turn up at their best, I think they’ll win this one. Aston Villa 0, Chelsea 2.”
After the match vs. Aston Villa, the Blues will focus on their UCL final vs. Man City scheduled to take place on May 29th at Porto, Portugal.
