Arteta wants Arsenal to sign this player ahead of Toney

Arsenal are already getting ready to make some new signings in the January transfer window as they have been linked with moves for a number of players.
However, a recent report claims the Gunners manager Mikel Arteta wants the club’s hierarchy to sign Wolves winger Pedro Neto ahead of Brentford striker Ivan Toney in the next transfer window.
A report via FootballTransfers (h/t CaughtOffside) revealed Arteta wants Neto to lighten the workload on Bukayo Saka in his squad.
The report, however, added that the North London side have a lean transfer budget and value the Portugal international at £40 million.
Wolves, on the other hand, believe their player Neto is worth £70 million.
Neto has scored 12 goals and created 18 assists in 119 appearances for Wolves since joining them from Serie A side Lazio in 2019.
So far this season, the 23-year-old has scored one goal and created five assists in eight matches for Wolves.
His deal with the Wolves doesn’t end until the summer of 2027.
