Arsenal set to hand this player new contract

Arsenal are reportedly set to offer Ben White a contract extension at the club.

The Gunners have witnessed improvement under Mikel Arteta and have had to extend their deals with some of their key players.

Gabriel, Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka, Aaron Ramsdale, Martin Odegaard and William Saliba have all signed fresh long-term contracts in the past year and White could be next.

Recall that there were stirs when the Gunners splurged £50m to sign White from Brighton, but the English player quickly became a hit at Emirates Stadium.

After a sound debut campaign, White was thrust into an unfamiliar right-back role for the 2022/23 season and he hasn’t looked back.

He was impressive for Arsenal last season when they were close to winning an EPL title.

“Arsenal are more than confident to get a new deal done and sealed soon for Ben White,” Fabrizio Romano recently tweeted

“Negotiations are ongoing since August/September, as reported earlier. White, happy at Arsenal as club want his new contract sealed after Odegaard signed last month.”
