Arsenal reportedly agree deal worth £50m for the transfer of highly rated defender

Premier League side Arsenal are on the verge of getting their hand on their summer top target, Ben White.

Arsenal have been linked with Brighton & Hove Albion’s Ben White ever since the transfer window opened some weeks ago, and they are reportedly close to agreeing on a deal.

The Gunner failed to qualify for an European competition for the first time in a decade and are ready to strengthen their squad in all departments.

According to The Athletic, the London club have now come to an agreement in principle with Brighton over a £50m transfer.

The report claim Ben White who is just 23-year-old will soon undergo medical in North London and will be unveiled in the next few days.

Arsenal have beaten some clubs in the Premier League to agree on a price with Brighton for the signature of Ben White.

Ben White represented England at the just concluded European Championship but did not play a single minute for the three lions.

However, he started 36 Premier League matches for Brighton last season, which shows how important he is to the team.
