Arsenal Move Ahead with Winger Deal Amid Chelsea Concerns

Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, but reports suggest the Gunners should be cautious, as two key factors have reportedly influenced Chelsea’s decision to part ways with the England international.

The Gunners have been actively exploring winger options this summer, aiming to provide more support for Bukayo Saka, who carried much of the attacking burden last season. While Saka delivered consistently strong performances, his absence through injury exposed a lack of depth in Arsenal’s forward line. Reports indicate two main factors: Chelsea’s need to streamline their squad to meet Financial Fair Play requirements, and concerns within the club regarding Madueke’s long-term consistency and fitness.
