Arsenal could indirectly assist Chelsea in their pursuit of Tottenham target Mohammed Kudus, as the summer transfer window heats up.

The latest reports suggest that West Ham United have rejected Tottenham’s £50 million bid for Kudus, who has become one of the most sought-after attacking talents in the Premier League.

The Ghanaian forward, who has a release clause of £85 million, remains open to a move this summer. Tottenham are expected to return with an improved offer as they continue their efforts to land him. However, Chelsea are also in the mix and have reportedly held talks with Kudus’ representatives over a possible transfer.

Chelsea’s ability to move forward with a deal may depend on outgoings. Having recently spent around £55 million to sign Jamie Gittens, the Blues could look to offload players to raise funds for a bid. Arsenal’s potential transfer business could further complicate matters for Tottenham. If Arsenal sell to Chelsea or other rivals, it could strengthen Chelsea’s position financially, giving them an edge in the race for Kudus.

Brentford manager Thomas Frank has also been credited with interest in Kudus, viewing him as an ideal attacking addition. However, the competition from London’s biggest clubs may make it difficult for Brentford to match the offers being discussed.

As the transfer saga unfolds, Kudus remains at the centre of intense negotiations, with Tottenham, Chelsea, and potentially Arsenal all playing a part in the outcome.
