Area Arsenal need to improve on after 1-1 draw vs Liverpool

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta in a recent statement has opened up on the side his team need to improve on after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Liverpool last weekend.

The Gunners and Liverpool shared a point each at Anfield thanks to goals from Gabriel Magalhães and Mohamed Salah.

The outcome saw the Gunners at the top of the Premier League table at Christmas ahead of second position Liverpool.

However, Arteta is determined to see improvements in his team in the way they ‘kill games’.

“There are some things we have to improve,” Arteta said at his post-match press conference after the game.

“Especially killing games with the amount of dominance that we are showing.

“Sometimes the results have been too close, where we have had to dig in the last few minutes to maintain results and that is it, nothing else.”

Meanwhile, Arsenal will return to action on Thursday when they face West Ham.
