Agent to Chelsea midfielder says he wants to return to Italy

Jorgingo’s agent Joao Santos in a statement, has revealed that his client dreams of returning to the Italian Seria A and could leave Chelsea this summer.

The Italian midfielder has been a key midfielder under Thomas Tuchel this season, scoring nine goals and creating three assists in 38 appearances across all competitions.

As of now, Jorginho’s future at Stamford Bridge is said to be in doubt as his contract will expire in June 2023.

And considering the current sanction imposed on the Blues by the UK government, they are unable to extend his deal due.

Jorginho has been linked with moves to Juventus, AC Milan, Barcelona, PSG, among other top European clubs.

“Playing in Serie A is a dream for him and his heart remains here,” Santos told Tuttomercatoweb.

“As things stand today, he could play for four or five clubs: Milan, Inter, Juve, Roma or Napoli.

“There are many clubs interested in him. In the past I spoke to PSG, Barcelona and also Milan’s Ricky Massara. I don’t know if the Rossoneri are still interested, though.

“The fact remains, we can’t do anything now because Chelsea are not allowed to sell, buy or renew contracts. Jorginho has a contract until June 2023, after the World Cup we’ll see about working on a renewal.”
