There are growing speculations that Portugal international, Cristiano Ronaldo could make a return to Man Utd in the summer transfer window.

According to AS reports, it revealed that Ronaldo is ready to accept a pay cut that could see him make a return to the Premier League.

Recall that Ronaldo left Man Utd 11 years ago and went on to join Spanish club Real Madrid, he went on to join Juventus which is his current club.

Although this is not the first time the Portugal star will be linked with a return to Old Trafford, however, there is a difference in this case.

This is because if Juventus fail to qualify for the Uefa Champions League, then Ronaldo will be in his way out this summer with the likely destination Man Utd who have qualified for a spot in the UCL for next season.

The reports revealed that Solskjaer has spoken with Ronaldo, “outlining his plans for the team” and explaining “how important his return would be” for the club.

Juventus are unlikely to stand in the player’s way and will accept a transfer fee around €25m or look into a possible swap deal.
