Chelsea upset with former manager’s plan

Chelsea have reportedly expressed disappointment with their former manager Thomas Tuchel he publicly said he wants to take Anthony Barry from the west London side.

Recall that Tuchel returned to coaching duties after he was recently appointed as the new manager of German Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich following Julian Nagelsmann’s sack.

Before this, Tuchel was without a job after his sack at Chelsea late last year following the near total breakdown in his relationship with Todd Boehly.

During his time at Chelsea, Tuchel and Barry worked together and the German has made it clear he wants to take the highly-rated Chelsea coach with him to Bayern.

A report via the Daily Telegraph revealed Chelsea were upset with Tuchel for confirming his intention to take Barry from Graham Potter.

Bayern are now said to have offered a compensation package but it is said to fall considerably short of Chelsea’s valuation and Barry will stay away from the club until his situation is resolved.
