World football body FIFA has released its 23-man list of 2021’s best players, and Chelsea, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain dominated the list, and each of them has four players in the squad.
The list showed Edouard Mendy, Jorginho, N’Golo Kante and Romelu Lukaku are the Blues players that made the list.
Surprisingly, Liverpool forward and Egypt international Mohamed Salah didn’t make it to the list despite his incredible year on the pitch.
The EPL was massively represented as 10 of the 23 players play in the English league.
According to the details, the FIFA squad is voted for by the players themselves.
The reports revealed that the 23-man group would be turned into the ‘World XI’ in December, during the ceremony of The Best FIFA Football Awards.
