Chelsea closer to signing Manchester United ace
Chelsea hope to have been given a transfer lift in their reputed quest for Manchester United youngster Angel Gomes.

It is not yet clear if Manchester United can find time to work on a new deal for Gomes, but this saga has been delayed for some time now and this report proposes the two parties are not closer to an agreement.
This could leave Gomes to leave Manchester United on a free transfer in few weeks, and ESPN have recently noticed that Chelsea are keen on the 19-year-old.
In the event that the Blues can snap Gomes up, he could be a good signing for the club and help them continue their successful strategy of trusting and developing youth under manager Frank Lampard.
Chelsea have not always adopt this methodology, however now appear to bring through a lot of promising academy players, and Gomes could be another fine long term signing to support Lampard’s project at Stamford Bridge.
