Chelsea, Arsenal battle sign Bayern Munich defender

Bayern Munich are purportedly not intending to offer Jerome Boateng another deal, with the accomplished defender set to be accessible on a free transfer this summer.

The Germany international has been a regular for the German champions during the 2020-21 season, making many appearances in all competitions.

The 32-year-old’s deal at the Allianz Arena is expected to lapse toward the end of June, however, and as per report, Bayern Munich are set to allow him to leave on a free transfer.
