Willian agreed a short term deal to remain for the rest of the postponed Premier League season however his contract with Chelsea is expected to lapse this summer.

The 31-year-old has been waiting for a three-year deal from Chelsea but the club are just ready to offer a deal for just two years.

The Gunners allegedly offered Willian a deal worth £250,000 weekly earlier this year however had to rethink because of the financial related effect of the coronavirus pandemic.

There are report that the Blues have made a breakthrough in negotiations and are happy that a deal could be settled before the end of next week.
