Bayern Munich boss gives his verdicts on Chelsea’s champions League dream

Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick believes Chelsea will go far in the current UEFA Champions League as the blues get ready to face Atletico Madrid in their round of 16 clashes.

Chelsea has become a new team under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel as they’ve been grinding in positive results and are unbeaten ever he took over from Frank Lampard.

Their defence line have also been breached on one occasion and it was an own goal by defender Antonio Rudiger in their victory over Sheffield United.

The blues form under Thomas Tuchel have seen them claim to fourth on the table and are back in contention for Champions League football next season.

When questioned about Chelsea’s chances in the current season, Flick believes the blues who will face Diego Simeone’s side can progress to the next round.

Flick in an interview with France Football stated that Chelsea have massive potential in terms of quality and quantity and it’s a young team with a lot of talent.

He noted that they can go far in the Champions League this season as Thomas has gained experience at PSG that will benefit him at Chelsea.

Flick who joined the list of the top managers Bayern Munich boss gives his verdicts on Chelsea’s Champions League dream to have won the title last season added that Tuchel is ready for this challenge.

Thomas Tuchel took Paris Saint-Germain to the UEFA Champions League final last season but they lost to Bayern Munich by a lone goal.

    joe cole, you should also tell us about how abraham, odoi and james messed up. why skirt their poor performances? if james had scored that gloriuos chance and abraham plays like all other strikers chelsea could have won 4-1. is it because they are english and zouma is french
