Valencia defender to join Arsenal on tour after reaching personal agreement

Arsenal incoming signing Cristhian Mosquera is set to join the Gunners squad in Asia amid their tour of Singapore.
This comes as recent report revealed that Mosquera will be flying to Singapore as the Gunners move closer to sealing a deal for the Valencia defender.
According to report, Mosquera has been granted permission by Valencia to join up with Arsenal squad having already agreed personal terms.
The Spain Under-21 defender is expected to create competition for William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.
He can play at both centre-back and right-back and is a good replacement for Japanese defender Takehiro Tomiyasu, who mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
Mosquera during his time in Spain made 90 appearances for Valencia and was a regular last season, playing the full match in 37 of the club’s 38 La Liga matches.
The defender’s arrival comes after Arsenal signed Noni Madueke from Chelsea.
The Gunners didn’t include Madueke in the pre-season tour plan to give him time to rest after his participation in Chelsea’s win during the FIFA club world cup.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will go head-to-head against Italian Serie A side AC Milan in Singapore in the National Stadium on Wednesday before facing Newcastle at the same venue on Sunday.
The Gunners will then travel to Hong Kong to play Tottenham Hotspur before returning to London.
