UCL: Arsenal get injury boosts Vs PSG
Ahead of Arsenal’s UCL faceoff against French giants Paris Saint-Germain PSG, the North London club have been handed a triple injury boost.
Arsenal will head to the midweek game after their 4-2 win over Leicester City in the Premier League over the weekend.
So far this season, Arsenal and Manchester City are the only clubs who are yet to lose in the Premier League.
Ahead of the game against PSG, Arsenal received a triple injury boost.
Mikel Merino was spotted during training with his teammates and could make his competitive debut for Arsenal against Southampton during the weekend.
Defender Riccardo Calafiori, who suffered a hamstring issue on the weekendwas in training on Monday.
Takehiro Tomiyasu was also present in Monday afternoon’s session, with the Japan star battling back from a knee injury.
It is, however, yet to be known if Mikel Arteta will make use of them against PSG.
Since the Gunners will host the French club at Emirates Stadium, they will hope to emerged victorious.
Arteta and his team will hope to at least clinch a title this season, having lost the Premier League twice to Pep Gaurdiola’s Man City two times in a row.
