The North London club have already signed Martin Zubimendi to the team as they plan to challenge for the Premier League title next term.

Arsenal also handed a five-year contract to Nwaneri to stay at the club, ending speculation that he would leave upon the expiry of his previous contract in the summer of 2026.

After signing the deal, rumours emerged that the 18-year-old star was convinced to remain at Emirates Stadium after he sought guarantees in regard to playing time.

However, talkSPORT pundit Dean Saunders has claimed that Nwaneri’s agent, who is also his father, dismissed such claims, stating that no such demands were made.
